I suppose in an effort to ‘get back to the basics’, if you haven’t noticed I’ve been shooting with film an inordinate amount lately, its because I’m starting to feel a sense of ‘burnout’ I’m not yet there so in an effort to circumvent a possible burnout I stepped back for a bit and I haven’t touched my camera or taken any clients or any sort of photography for I would say several weeks maybe a month or over that now.

One other thing I have done is gone back to some muses I have worked with previously, nothing formal really just a fun, it’ll be like old times kind of taking photos. It’s low stress and expectations are low, insert lol here, of course I’m not going to half-ass it but I what I mean to say is that it will be a fun shoot!

the buttery smooth bokeh in the foreground and back ground from this lens is amazing!

For this particular shoot even though its slated as a ‘for fun’ our ideas will be white outfits and a floral/garden sort of look. I will be using my new Fujifilm X-T4 and 2 lenses the Zeiss Touit 32mm f/1.8 as well as my Fujifilm XF50mm f/1 lens.

Just a couple of things about the 50mm lens, it is an amazing lens but best suited for portraits and not for moving subjects. Not to say that I was having problems focusing but for the overall look of it, the 50 is best for simple no nonsense portraits.
