Veronica

When I first started my studies one of the basic tenets was it be black and white. I started playing with color grading and found that some types of grading lent a way for me to communicate in a way that I felt made the image more evocative not more than black and white but in just a different way.

I met Veronica online I believe it was on Facebook. Who can tell anymore so many sources of social media but I do know it was one of those platforms. We started talking and she’s rather a quiet reserved young lady. But only to an extent, when we started shooting it was like she was a completely different person. It is this sort of persona that makes this project worthwhile a sort of self-discovery that makes creating an awesome task!

Here are a few of those images from that first time out. I will post more and perhaps do other sorts of themes with this particular muse. Enjoy!
