Film

I have always had a love affair with film, since obviously I started, lol! I continue that now even though we have digital and practically everyone has a camera in their pocket, which is a wonderful thing. The thing that is missing though is holding that photo in your hand; there is a wonderful feeling about holding a memory, a photo in your hand, so I do print most if not all my digital photos, that I would like to put in an album.

Because I think that there is an almost ‘made up’ look to a photo printed from a digital image, I rather like the look of an image printed from film, there is an organic realness to that sort of photo.

I still have my Nikon F5 and shoot with that as well as my Hasselblad 500 CM and my Pentax 645N. I am sharing some of the most recent photos from those cameras, these are digital scans from the negs and positives that I shot.
