sabrina, the model spotlight series

In late Spring of 2017, she contacted me on IG and wanted to schedule a shoot, but she also asked if I would be interested in shooting her roommate. I agreed to do a shoot with her but another date with her roommate, and we set a date.

Sabrina and I became good friends in the two and half years on the island. We spent more time creating, and rapport was established because we had become good friends. Even though we shot those times, I think we should have done more photo shoots.

We did some shoots outdoors and a couple of studio shoots. In one of those studio shoots, Michelle did her makeup and 'color me happy.' She had a striking resemblance to Gal Gadot; I really should've done a Wonder Woman shoot!

There are advantages and obvious disadvantages to forming friendships with models. The one advantage is the benefit of having a go-to model, and one disadvantage is that they may feel that you're obligated to choose them over others for other work.

These issues never came up with Sabrina, and she was always happy to create with me when I could.
