I was a beauty queen photog, model spotlight series.

In the mid-00s, I was a beauty queen photographer. I photographed the Miss Universe Guam contestants and later the Miss Earth Guam contestants.

Doing this enabled me to find new models. I did lots of model shoots from the mid-00s to the mid-10s. One of these women is one I continue to work with today, Katrina. Katrina is half Vietnamese and half Chamorro, the island's local people, and, as such, has a unique look.

She is quirky, loves having fun and being funny, and always lightens the mood during a photo shoot.

She is a great model to work with and always fun while we shoot. She is also open to many different ideas and brings many to the table. The photos you see are her ideas; when she wants to create, we go for it; I don't stop her.

Katrina is a more mature woman and a go-getter, as seen in the photos. I thought it would be a great time to post on Katrina as we're prepping for another shoot this coming Saturday. I will try to do a live on my YouTube or Instagram, depending on which one will let me.
