She'll fix your car, Shawn, model spotlight series
A petite half-Japanese, half-local with short pixie blonde hair - the best way to describe my first meeting with her. I met Shawn on Instagram and asked her to shoot.
She came to our open casting call very timid and unsure, but this is what happens with new models. After seeing her photos, she relaxed. We still use those photos for her port.
We worked together several times after that, and with each outing, she gained confidence. We'd done several bikini, street, and boudoir shoots.
The great and probably surprising thing about Shawn is that she's a grease monkey, a mechanic, and loves that job. She's also an on-air personality on a local radio show.
Something about her comes through very well in her photos; it's her charm, and she's one of those who doesn't even realize how beautiful she truly is, inside and out!
