Dancers, are wonderful subjects.

I love dancers. Put on some music and get your camera ready; trust me when I say you'll come away with fantastic photos. Don't try to sway them—pun intended—they will find their own rhythm. Yes, another pun. But you will not run out of subject material to create with.

My friends, Kaileigh, Sabrina, Ali, & Alex, are amazing dancers. I met them all through a friend, and when I was told they were dancers, that was all the motivation I needed to organize a shoot. I created images with a mixture of studio and on-location photos. If you ever work with a dancer, seize that opportunity.

Because these dancers are temporarily on Guam, I knew my time was limited, so I got to work. For my shoot with Kaileigh, we would shoot around Tumon, which some people consider the 'downtown' of Guam but is not. I used my Godox AD400pro with a 36" octabox for this shoot.

Sabrina & Ali's shots were done in the studio, and Alex's again in the Tumon area.
