No, really Tin was her name

I have posted some of her photos here; I probably did; who knows, lol? Nonetheless, I met her on a group shoot. We have this group of local photogs and try to make an annual trip to Manila during Photoworld Asia. On these trips, we do group shoots, and you know my love for group shoots to meet models.

Her name is Christine, but she prefers the nickname 'Tin.' She is very experienced in modeling, especially boudoir and nude work. When a photo shoot is in a group, it's usually less work, meaning I shoot what I see while walking around without interacting with the model, and it doesn't feel very creative. Sometimes, I feel like a fly on the wall. That is not to say I am not able to capture good photos, but when I am in complete control of a photo shoot, I can get more predictable results with my photography.

My affinity for group shoots is for the camaraderie. It is also to get to know new creatives, photographers, and models alike. In this particular group shoot, like one other group shoot I attended, I was able to take Tin aside while others took a break, and I got some good photos. We were able to bond better by working one-on-one.

After that first meeting, we worked together two other times, and as our rapport grew, we were able to vibe with each other. She understood my style and made suggestions to that end.

We met several more times after that and became good friends and work partners; by then, we had an established rapport. Christine, or 'Tin,' was one of those models I could work with when I visited Manila.

We continue to collaborate today, and we're already prepping a future shoot. This time around, most of the shoot will be video, but it will be a hybrid of photo and video.
