Kosheen, model spotlight series

I often get into a spot when doing these model spotlight series because I'm not a writer. I know how to write; we've all taken English classes in high school and college, but do I know how to write? If I get my thoughts across to you, the reader, then by some crazy miracle, I have accomplished what I've set out to do. So, for all intents and purposes, I am a writer, if for that small moment in time.

I'm back in college, and the previous paragraph was to fill in the word requirement for an essay to be turned in. The proverbial killing time until I have to do what I've set out to do.

I met Kosheen through Instagram, as I have other models before. A bright, bubbly young lady similar in age to my children, I bring that up because I always wondered how I would feel if one day I were to photograph one of their friends or acquaintances. Would it be awkward, or would I get right to it like I'm in work mode so the awkwardness would disappear?

Though Kosheen was only an acquaintance of my kids, I thought there would still be some awkward moments, but there was no awkwardness at all, and we got set to work. We did precisely that. We got down to creating.

We have only ever been able to do two shoots, and then life takes over. After a while, you realize it's been ages, and others come along wanting to have photographs done. Nonetheless, we collaborated, and though it was just for the two sessions, we got some great shots!
