Aria, the full take

I have posted about Aria before, but today, I will post more and tell you a little bit more about her. I didn’t meet her the way I met most models I shoot. She was pointed out to me by my buddy JayPea. Sadly, he is no longer with us, but more about that in a few.

JayPea loved going out and meeting all sorts of people. On one of his outings, he runs into ‘the most beautiful girl I’ve ever seen”, his words, and he tells me I “have” to shoot her. I tell him, of course, and I take her contact information. I do have every intention of working with her, but. Days turn into weeks, and weeks turn into months.

One lovely day, I received news that my buddy JayPea had passed suddenly. I am saddened by the news but also overwhelmingly left with a sense that I never got together with that young lady he mentioned who would be a great addition to my portfolio. So, I reached out and scheduled a shoot.

After a year of JayPea talking about her, we finally shot her, and he was right. She is obviously beautiful and has a great personality to boot. She does the rescue animal thing and is an all-around wonderful person. And the photos we shot were gorgeous—of Course!

I know JayPea is smiling from above and thinking, ‘See!, I told you so!…’
