Visual Storytelling with Depth and Purpose
Trusted by The New York Times, WSJ, and more to deliver compelling editorial work.
I’m Anthony Henri Oftana, a Guam-based editorial photographer with over 30 years of experience creating compelling, story-driven imagery for newspapers, magazines, and digital publications. My work has been published in The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, The Washington Post, Bloomberg Businessweek, and the San Francisco Chronicle.
Specializing in environmental portraiture, lifestyle features, and documentary-style storytelling, I focus on capturing real people and real moments with authenticity and purpose. Whether I’m working on assignment or collaborating with creative teams, I approach each shoot with the same goal—to create honest, powerful images that resonate.
Oftana.com is the home of my editorial photography portfolio, showcasing portrait work, human interest stories, and behind-the-scenes insight into how I approach visual storytelling. Based in Guam, I also travel frequently across the Pacific, Asia, and the U.S. mainland for assignments.
